Ensign's newest Rig 530 is delivered to California

Ensign US Drilling (California) introduced their new Automatic Drilling Rig (A.D.R.)Rig 530 at a presentation and rig show at Berry Petroleum’s office in Bakersfield. This rig is the latest in safety, technology and mobility. with the depth rating of 6800., The rig package includes, top drive, automated pipe handling, floating crown, automated pipe baskets and self leveling systems on all loads. The rig is scheduled to work for Berry in the Kern Valley.
